There were many deserving athletes that earned IFBB Pro cards at MuscleMulisha in May, one such deserving recipient was Lesotho's Khauhelo Raphepheng.

Who is he?

In as much as he's been competing in South African bodybuilding shows for a number of years Khauhelo Raphepheng is actually a Lesotho resident based in the capital city Maseru.

Why Bodybuilding?

Khauhelo began lifting and training in his final year of high school.

The IFBB Pro says he was inspired to lift by his older brother who loved gym and lifting weights alot.

"My brother had alot of bodybuilding magazines which he cherished and was always read in but whenever he wasn't around I would sneakily read them."

He goes on to add:

"I still didn't believe that this bodybuilding thing was real until I saw my brother on tv being interviewed. That experience sparked something inside me and from then on I started seriously reading, learning and incorporating the bodybuilding lifestyle in everything I do."

Occupation

Being a competitive bodybuilder gives one a superior understanding of the human body in relation to stress and movemen. It comes as no surprise to find that most bodybuilders tend to be personal trainers as well, this applies Khauhelo.

He's currently a multi functional trainer at the Lehakoe Fitness Center in Lesotho. He does personal training and he hosts group spinning classes for regular gym goers.
