Marzaan relinquishes her IBFF Pro card
It's confirmed that Marzaan VD Heever has handed in her IBFF Pro card a year after winning it.
I reached her for comment and she confirms with Gmanathi she's not quitting bodybuilding but wasn't too forthcoming with what her next move is.
It's a shock move especially timing wise considering the Universe show is coming up and she would have been looking to build on her 2nd place finish at the ALL Africa Cup 2023.
If I'm not mistaken she's from the Carla Vorster Hybrid Coaching camp so my guess would be that she's planning on joining the IFBB seeing as most of Shelbys athletes are there. But then she competed in the IFBB before joining the IBFF so going to the NPC would makes sense too.
None of the athletes in that camp are in the PCA or UIBFF so we can safely rule those federations out.
