Carel ready to battle the big boys
South African Classic bodybuilder Carel Grobler will make his Pro debut in on t he 14th of September when he competes at the UK PRO.
I reached out to someone close to his team and its been confirmed this news.
Now Carel came out of nowhere to won his IFBB Pro Card in June 2023 at the NPC Johannesburg Pro qualifier. He took had last competed in 2021 where he placed 2nd to the eventual winner Shanti Mitchell and took 2022 off.
With the rise in participation and rise in the calibre of athletes few would have predicted Carel to take the win, but the package he brought was undeniable earning him a well deserved Pro Card.
