Powerlifter Nicolaas Du Preez Brings the ABS Pro belt back to Africa!

The ABS PRO Male division delivered an unforgettable showcase of strength this year, headlined by an epic rematch between South Africa's Nicolaas du Preez and England's Hulkmeyers following their Clash Of Titans 3 showdown.

This time, it was du Preez who emerged victorious, strategically cutting down to the 120kg class , performing one of the biggest powerbar totals ever recorded.

The field featured lifters from eight nations, but the real story was the rare 1000kg/2205lbs podium , only the third occurrence in powerlifting history and the second time on the ABS PRO stage. This elite club was previously exclusive to the Reach Supps Rumble competition.

English powerhouse Luke Tolman secured another podium finish, while Iceland's Tomas Darri marked his ABS debut with a career milestone - his first 1000kg total on this prestigious platform.

Portugal's Alexisvnc1 claimed his third ABS victory over England's Wylie Sung, and teenage sensation Gregory Pearson delivered a flawless 9/9 performance to defeat fellow English lifter Full Send Fred in their head-to-head battle.

The meet proved yet again why ABS PRO remains at the cutting edge of elite powerlifting, combining world-class talent with historic performances that push the sport's boundaries. With such depth of competition across weight classes, the 2024 edition has set a new benchmark for professional powerlifting.
