Day 2: South Africa's Danél Louw Competes as Rončević and Wenisch Claim Final Doubles Title

Day 2 of the HYROX World Championships saw the Elite 15 Doubles take centre stage at Strawberry Arena, with South Africa's Danél Louw making her mark in the women's competition.

Men's Elite 15 Doubles – Gold: Alexander Rončević (AUT) & Tim Wenisch (GER)

The Austrian-German duo claimed their first Elite 15 Doubles World Championship title, crossing the line in 48 minutes and 57 seconds. Despite being overtaken at the Sled Push, they reclaimed the lead at the Sled Pull and never looked back.

"That was the most beautiful end to the season you could imagine. One last dance with Tim in the Elite category," Rončević said after the race.

The victory marked their final race together—new HYROX rules will require Elite Doubles partners to share the same nationality from 2027.
