African MMA Legend Demarte Pena will take part in a Brazilian Ju jitsu (BJJ) grappling tournament in July.
I'm loving what the boys down at Submission Kings are doing for bjj in Mzansi. They're at the forefront of promoting and packaging the sport in a way that makes it attractive to regular MMA fans. A major factor in fans crossing over is the Submission Kings managing to pull in MMA superstars like Dricus Du Plessis and Angolan Demarte Pena to compete.
Pena is the greatest bantamweight in EFC history having cleaned up the division during his seven year stay at the organisation.
As a bjj specialist makes the tournament an enticing challenge for Demarte and at Submission Kings his opponent is a brown belt in Dei Juan Timm.
