Gerhard Van Staden (37) is a South African PRO Strongman competitor and the promoter for the Annual Africa's Strongest Man competition. The Lion King as he is commonly known is a wildlife conservationist and lives in Rustenburg at an actual wildlife park.
Imagine you're hyping yourself up for a set on the bench, you scream LIGHTWEIGHT BABYYYY and you hear a pack of wolves howling back at you? Sounds like heaven right? That's only something you can experience at Gerhards gym. His gym is located within the wildlife park right next to where the lions and the wolves are stationed.
