Lerena ready to unleash his 2 GUNZ on Polish opponent
With his next fight now confirmed, South African boxer Kevin Lerena will be looking for another dominant performance as he continues to climb up the heavyweight division ranks.
On 17 September Kevin "2 Gunz" Lerena (28-1) will go up against Polish fighter Mariusz Wach (36-8) in a heavyweight bout at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park.
Lerena only recently moved up to the heavyweight class but he looks right at home. His last performance was spectacular in which he knocked out Romanian Bodgdan Dinu to win the WBA Intercontinental Heavyweight title.
When you analyse the matchup the most startling stat is the weight difference between the two fighters. Wach weighs a whopping 20 kgs (44 lbs) more than Lerena.
We expect the Polish fighter to use his jab to score points while using it to keep and maintain his distance. 2 Gunz on then other hand will look to use his speed to create openings, wear his opponent down and if the opportunity arises unleash his power and drop Each.
