The opening day of the 2026 HYROX World Championships at Stockholm's Strawberry Arena delivered high drama, with American athletes sweeping the Elite 15 Singles titles while South African competitors prepared for a strong showing in the days ahead.




American Double Victory in Elite Singles

Men's Elite 15 – Gold: Dylan Scott (USA)

Dylan Scott produced a stunning comeback to claim the world title in 53 minutes and 47 seconds. After a disastrous Sled Push left him 14th in that station, Scott entered the final Wall Balls in sixth place. He executed a flawless finish—the only athlete to complete the 9kg ball repetitions without breaks—overtaking Tim Wenisch at the 95th rep to sprint to victory.
