'X' gonna give it to ya!! Ngubane ready for Van Staden EFC 95
So we're talking MMA with my dawg Tristan Marais. During the convo he tells me Peace 'X' Nguphane (who's fighting at EFC 95) stays down the road from him in Potch. Says every single time he sees him it's in streets and 'X' is out jogging with a weighted vest on.
The homie is convinced Peace will go on to do great things in MMA. I've only ever watched one of his fights but getting a co-sign from one of SA's top prep coaches is enough to make me stand up and take notice.
At EFC 95 where South African mixed martial artist Peace Nguphane (2-1) beat Bruno Mukulu (6-10) in April. The manner in which the fight transpired I was so focused on Mukulu that I didn't pay much attention to the victor.
What happened was X connected a barrage of sharp elbows and hard punches after which Mukulu verbally give up. Both fighters still on their feet, in between the exchanges he told literally the ref to stop the fight and he had had enough.
The ego in me was like how the did this guy just give up when he still had so much in the tank, who TF is this guy??
Never actually paying attention to the one that made that MF quit, well it's safe to say I'm paying attention now!

The verbal win over Bruno Mukulu.
- Xolile Peace Ngubane is a 28 year old mixed martial artist from Potchefstoom in the North West.
- He racked up the wins as an amteur getting 10 in total before graduating and moving up to the EFC.
- His PRO record reads (2-1) but his only loss came from a disqualification due to illegal strikes, not him being actually beat by his opponent.
